Charlie Garza is Director of Import, Craft & Specialty Brands for BudCo of San Antonio, one of the largest beer distributing companies in the state of Texas. Garza joined BudCo, formerly known as Crain Distributing, in 1985 in the sales department. BudCo is the primary distributor for all the Anheuser-Busch product line and the Modelo brand products. In 1997 BudCo was awarded the Modelo rights and Garza was promoted to direct the growth of the Modelo brands that includes Corona, the number one import beer in the United States. In 2002, he was promoted to Director of Import, Craft & Specialty Brands; he manages the sales, marketing, promotion and community relations for all the import, craft and specialty brands for 13 Texas counties. Garza is also responsible for the contemporary adult market, promoting and marketing for Budweiser, Bud Light & Bud Select. Since he started his career in the beer sales and marketing, Charlie has become well known in the beer industry as one of best. He has personally built relationships with countless of restaurants, convenience stores, bars, mom-and-pops as well as with some of the largest retail businesses in Texas. As a result, he manages over $20,000.000.00 in annual sales. |
